Story Title: Sanzoku

Back in feudal Japan a young man by the name of Kenta having just finished his tutelage under his master and lover the gentleman samurai Kaneko Hideo eagerly awaits his coming of age ceremony. Unfortunately at the ceremony he learns two things one: his master cannot be his lover any longer and is marrying, and two: he’s been ordered to go into the mountains to capture a monstrous oni. Scared Kenta does as ordered and travels into the mountains prepared for a fight with a monster. However when he finally comes face to face with this “Oni” he learns that it’s really a mangy mountain bandit named Yukio leader of a band of thieves. Now captured, Kenta must endure the boorish and smug behavior of his captors, the indignity of having to be rescued by his ex-lover, and the strange desire that is surfacing as he spends his time with Yukio.

Just a short story about what Ivar and Xavier were up to during the second half of ást eiðr and why Ivar ended up betraying Gunnar. Going to be much shorter then the main story around five or six chapters at the most. But then again ást eiðr itself was going to be a short story at first.
